Switch Accounts: Organizer to Traveler

Switching to a Traveler Account

Updated over a week ago

SquadTrip gives you the flexibility to participate in trips not just as an Organizer but also as a Traveler—without needing to create a separate account. Whether you're scouting other experiences, supporting fellow organizers, or just want to join a trip for fun, switching to a Traveler account lets you book, manage, and enjoy trips just like any regular traveler. You’ll still maintain full access to your Organizer tools and trip data, making it a seamless way to experience SquadTrip from both perspectives.

How to Switch to a Traveler Account

  1. Click your Profile Icon in the top-right corner
This is the same place you access your Organizer dashboard and account settings.

  2. Open the drop-down menu.
Here, you'll find account options like profile preferences and the ability to switch roles.

  3. Select Traveler Account.
Once you click this, you’ll be taken to the Traveler dashboard, where you can browse, book, and manage trips just like any other traveler.

What Happens When You Switch?

  • You can book and manage trips like any Traveler.
You’ll be able to select trips, make payments, view itineraries, and interact with organizers.

  • Your Organizer account and trips remain unchanged.
All your trip pages, guest lists, and payment data stay intact—you’re simply accessing a different view.

  • You can switch back to your Organizer account anytime.
Use the same Profile menu to toggle between Traveler and Organizer roles as often as needed.

Switching between roles is a simple way to get the most out of SquadTrip—whether you’re creating group travel experiences or enjoying them yourself. With your bookings and trip data kept completely separate, you can move between roles with confidence. Let us know if you have any questions or if we can help along the way!
