How do I fix an “Internal Server Error” or “You need to have one package saved” message while publishing my trip?

If an Trip Organizer see an internal server error during trip preview or publishing, or a error message like “You need to have one package saved,” or any issue while trying to publish the trip, they need follow these steps:

  1. Check payment options for each package

    • Go to the Payments tab.

    • Scroll down to Trip Settings.

    • Select each package from the dropdown.

    • Set the payment options (for example, Pay in Full or Pay in Installments).

    • Click Save for each package.

    • Try publishing the trip again.

  2. If the issue continues, verify the following:

    • Trip and package dates are valid, within the same range, and set in the future.

    • If room types are enabled, confirm that each package is correctly assigned to a room option.

After completing these checks, try publishing the trip once more.
