Fixing “Pay in Installments” Not Showing in Payment Settings

Pay in Installment not showing

Updated this week

Overview

If an organizer reports that the “Pay in Installments” option is missing in their package’s payment settings, it’s usually caused by one of two issues:

  1. The package price is below the minimum required threshold.

  2. The room type and package mapping were not properly configured.

This guide explains both causes and how to fix them.

Possible Causes and Solutions

1. Package Price Below $100 Minimum

To enable the Pay in Installments option, the total package price must be at least $100 USD.

If the price is set below this amount, the system will only display the Pay in Full option.

How to Fix:

  1. Go to your Package Editor.

  2. Open the Pricing section.

  3. Check the total amount.

  4. If it’s below $100, increase it to $100 or higher.

  5. Click Save Changes.

  6. Return to the Payment Settings tab, you should now see the Pay in Installments option.

  7. Tick the checkbox for Pay in Installments.

  8. Click Save again, the installment option will now be available to travelers.

2. Room Type and Package Not Mapped Properly

If your package uses Room Type Pricing, the “Pay in Installments” option may not appear if the package and room types were not correctly linked.

How to Check & Fix:

  1. Go to the Main Flow.

  2. Open the Room Types section and then click Edit (Pencil icon) of your selected Room Type.

  3. Scroll down to Room Options and then click Edit (Pencil icon) or Add Room Option.

  4. Verify that each Room Type (e.g., “Double Occupancy”) is linked to the correct Package.

  5. Make sure the per-person pricing is set properly.

  6. Click Save Room Options.

  7. Revisit Payment Settings, the Pay in Installments option should now appear.

  8. Tick the checkbox for Pay in Installments.

  9. Click Save again, the installment option will now be available to travelers.

Verification Checklist

After making changes, confirm that:

  • Installment payment option appears under the Payment Settings tab.

  • Each room type is linked correctly to its package.

  • The package total meets or exceeds the minimum required value.

Additional Notes

  • Always verify both pricing and room mapping when troubleshooting payment visibility.

  • If multiple admins manage pricing, ensure changes are coordinated to avoid overwriting correct configurations.

The system uses $35 as a placeholder for unlinked or incomplete room setups, this is not a valid package price.
