Sometimes, after a traveler has booked a trip, you may need to apply a discount or promotional code to their existing reservation. Whether it’s to honor a special offer, provide a courtesy discount, or correct a pricing issue, SquadTrip allows you to easily update the order using a promo code. Follow the steps below to apply a promo code to a traveler’s existing booking:
Go to Trip Data in your dashboard.
Start by logging into your SquadTrip organizer account. Navigate to the “Trip Data” section, where you can access all relevant details about your trip, guests, and orders.Find the traveler under the Guest List and open their profile.
Scroll through the list of registered guests or use the search bar to quickly locate the traveler whose booking needs updating. Click on their name to open their booking profile.Click Edit Order.
Within the traveler’s profile, locate and click the “Edit Order” button. This opens the order editing screen.Click Edit Order again at the top of the screen.
After the first click, you’ll see an additional “Edit Order” button at the top. Click it again to enable full access to order modifications, including price adjustments and promo code entry.On the right side, under New Package Summary, enter the Promo Code.
On the right-hand side of the screen, you’ll find the “New Package Summary” section. Enter the desired promo code in the designated field. The system will automatically calculate and apply the corresponding discount to the booking.Click Save to apply the discount.
Once the promo code is entered, click the “Save” button to finalize and apply the discount to the traveler’s order. The updated pricing will now be reflected in their account and confirmation details.
