SquadTrip doesn’t support automatic transfer of a traveler between trips, but you can manually move them using this two-step workaround.
1. Cancel the Traveler Without Refund
Go to Trip Data on the original trip and cancel the traveler’s booking. Choose the option that does not issue a refund. You can learn more about canceling a trip for traveler here: cancel a trip with or without a refund
2. Create a Promo Code for the Paid Amount
In your organizer dashboard, go to Promo Codes and create a custom code equal to the amount the traveler already paid. Share this code with the traveler and have them sign up for the new trip using it at checkout. You can read more about creating promo code here: creating promo codes
This ensures they don’t pay again and gives them access to the new trip without affecting your financial records. If you need help calculating the promo or managing the transition, feel free to reach out to support.
