How to Change a Traveler's Reservation

This article explains how trip organizers can update a traveler’s reservation by editing their order, including changing trips or packages, managing add-ons, and adjusting payment plans, and then saving the changes.

We know that plans can change, and we’re here to help you effortlessly adjust your travelers' reservations. Whether you need to modify a package, add extras, or change the payment schedule, we've got you covered. Trip organizers can update a traveler’s reservation directly from the trip dashboard.

Change a Traveler’s Reservation

  1. Click on the trip thumbnail image to open Dashboard 2.0.

  2. In the Travelers section, click the three dots next to the traveler’s name.

  3. Select View Details.

  4. From the traveler profile, click Edit Order. From the Edit Order page you can switch trips, change packages, update add-ons, change the payment schedule, apply a promo code, and more.

What You Can Change

From the Edit Order flow, you can:

  • Switch between trips: Select the radio button for the desired trip, then choose the package and add-ons as needed. Click Next and continue until you reach Save.

  • Switch the traveler to a different package: Select the radio button next to the package you want, then click Next.

  • Add or remove add-ons. To make changes to add-ons, select the check boxes and then click Next.

  • Adjust the payment plan: Update the number of payments, payment schedule, or payment amount (with fees), then click Next.

Save the Changes

  • You may skip any step if no changes are needed.

  • Click Next through each step until you reach the final screen.

  • Click Save to confirm and apply the changes.

Changes are only applied after clicking Save.


Important Package Rules

  • Within the same trip, you can switch between packages of the same type only.

  • You cannot switch between room-type packages and non room-type packages in the same trip.

  • You can switch to any type of package when you are switching the traveler to a different trip.
