Changing Trip Balance

This article explains how trip organizers can update a traveler’s total trip price by editing the package amount from the order details and saving the changes.

To change the trip balance, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your SquadTrip account.

  2. Open the trip and find the traveler.

  3. Open the traveler’s account details.

  4. Click "Edit Order" in the menu to view the order summary.

  5. Click the "Edit Order" button to go to the package section where the price is displayed.

  6. Click the pencil icon to edit the price. Note: the pencil icon appears only for standard packages. For bookings on room-type packages, direct price editing is not available -- see Managing Balance Adjustments for Travelers for the promo code or duplicate-package workaround.

  7. Change the trip price and input the new amount. Click "Confirm".

  8. To verify, open the traveler’s account details again - the new price appears under Payment Summary.

Note: For multiple packages, select the desired package by clicking the radio button next to it.
