Managing trip logistics can be complex, but SquadTrip makes it simple to organize and customize every aspect of your trip inventory. Whether you're offering multiple packages, rooms, or activities, our system is built to handle it all, giving your travelers the flexibility to choose what works best for them at checkout. If your trip was created on an older version of SquadTrip, some screens may look different.
With SquadTrip, you can create, customize, and track everything your trip offers:
Packages:
Create as many packages as you need, such as Standard and VIP, or a 3-night and a 5-night stay. Give each package a description, dates and images, choose How is this package priced? (One price per person, or By room, where travelers pay for the room they choose), and set how many people can book it. Single vs double isn't a package: it's one room sold two ways, set up on the Rooms step. A trip that only sells rooms has no package to manage until you click Add a second package. Our platform makes it easy to build out all the options travelers need to find the perfect fit for their trip.
Rooms: On the Rooms step, add each room your trip sells, from standard rooms to deluxe suites, and add options for its variants, like two twins or one king. A room can be sold more than one way: for each way you set the Occupancy (people per room), a Price per person in each package (leave it blank if the room isn't sold in that package) and whether it's Sold as a Whole room, where one booker pays for every spot, or Shared, where each traveler pays for their own spot. Click + Add another way to sell this room to sell the same room both ways. For a shared room, Who can fill an open spot? lets you choose Friends only (the spot waits for the booker's share link) or Anyone (a solo traveler can be placed in it). Under How many you have, choose Unlimited or Set a limit: the limit counts rooms, not people, so 4 rooms that sleep 2 are 4 rooms, not 8 spots. Under Availability you can Stop new bookings, Show as sold out or Hide once sold out. Activities (Add-Ons): Give your travelers the chance to enhance their trip with optional add-ons. Offer extras like excursions, drink packages, massages, or airport shuttles for an additional cost. Travelers see them under Available Add-On Activities on your trip page, and after they click Book now, an Add-On Options pop-up lets them pick add-ons before they pay, or skip them. Travelers who have already booked can buy more from Buy Add-Ons on their Trip Details page.
Once your inventory is set up, tracking is a breeze. You’ll be able to see who’s purchased what directly from your dashboard: the trip’s Rooms tab shows your booked rooms, and its Export menu has a Rooming list (PDF) for the hotel. When an item sells out, our system automatically updates your inventory in real time, with no need for manual adjustments.
