How to cancel and refund a guest?

Steps to cancel a trip reservation and issue a refund to travelers from the Trip Data section on SquadTrip

First, you need to go to the "Trip Data", then on the left, you will see "Cancel a Trip Reservation". Find the person's name then click "Cancel and issue a refund".

⚠️ Note on refunds

  • The processing fee is refundable, but Stripe does not refund its fees, so that amount will be charged to your Stripe account.

  • Refunds take 5–10 business days once initiated in Stripe.

  • Always inform travelers of refund delays to avoid chargebacks that may risk your Stripe account getting blocked.

  • We advise travelers to wait up to 30 days to receive their refund.
