How Organizers Can Activate Waitlist Option
Updated over a week ago

You now have the option to create a waitlist for your trips on Squadtrip.com. This feature lets you capture interest from users even when your trips are fully booked by collecting emails and other relevant information.

How do I activate the waitlist feature?

You can activate the waitlist feature directly from the trip builder page by using the "Activate Waitlist" checkbox.

"Activate Waitlist" part is nested in the "Preview and Publish" page.

Waitlist Button

When a trip is fully booked, the "Book Now" button on the trip page will be replaced with a "Join Waitlist" button. Users can click this button to provide their information and join the waitlist.

Example Explained: Activating the Waitlist

In the example below, you want to activate the waitlist for your trip:

  1. Go to the "Trip Builder" page.

  2. Select "Preview and Publish" section from the left sidebar.

  3. Look for the question "Activate waitlist" on the preview/publish page.

  4. Select the checkbox "Yes" to activate the waitlist feature.

  5. The "Buy Now" button on the trip page will now be replaced with a "Join Waitlist" button.

πŸ’‘ When the trip is waitlisted, all packages will also have the word "Waitlist" and function the same as the main button.

If your trip isn't sold out, you can activate the waitlist option in the following ways:

  1. The whole trip can be marked as sold out by toggling "Mark as sold out" on the "Trip Basics" page.

  2. For each package Waitlist can be triggered if we set the package to be "Sold out" by selecting toggle button on Package settings.

  3. For each Room category Waitlist can be triggered if we set the Room category to be Sold out by selecting the toggle button for Sold Out.
