Updated over 2 weeks ago

This guide will walk you through the process of marking your trip as sold out or reopening it for new travelers to join. Keeping your availability status current ensures transparency and helps avoid overbooking or guest confusion. Follow these steps to update your trip’s booking status:

  1. Go to Trip Manager in your dashboard.
Begin by logging into your SquadTrip organizer account. From your dashboard, navigate to the “Trip Manager” section. This is where you’ll find all settings related to your trip’s configuration and status.

  2. Click on Basics.
Within the Trip Manager, click the “Basics” tab. This section contains essential trip settings, including title, dates, and booking options.

  3. Toggle the Sold Out button on to mark the trip as sold out or off to reopen bookings.
Find the “Sold Out” toggle switch. Turn it on to mark the trip as fully booked and close it for any further registrations. Toggle it off to reopen the trip and allow new participants to book a spot.

How to Mark a Specific Package as Sold Out

In addition to marking an entire trip as sold out, you can also mark individual packages as unavailable.

To mark a specific package as sold out:

  1. Go to Trip Management and click on Packages.

  2. Find the package you want to update and click the three dots (•••) next to it.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Scroll to the field labeled “How many people can book this trip package?”

  5. Choose Set a limit and enter 0 as the limit.

  6. Save the settings.

The package will now appear as sold out to travelers, while the rest of the trip remains open for booking.

Keeping your trip and package status accurate helps you manage capacity, communicate with your audience more effectively, and avoid confusion or cancellations.
