For those unable to access their account:

  2. Click "Forgot Password?" beneath the password field

  3. Enter your registered email address

  4. Receive a one-time password (OTP) via email and SMS

  5. Enter the OTP and create a new password

This works for both travelers and organizers locked out of their dashboard.

Google Sign-In Users

If you originally signed up using Google Sign-In, your account may not have a password set. In this case:

  • You can always log in using the "Sign in with Google" button on the login page

  • If you want to set a password for email-based login, use the "Forgot Password?" flow on the login page -- this will send you an OTP to create a password

  • Once set, you can log in with either Google or your email/password

Note: If you see a message about setting up your account password when trying to log in, this means your account was created via Google and doesn't have a traditional password yet. Use the Google sign-in button or set up a password via "Forgot Password."

Important Requirements

  • Your new password must be at least 8 characters

  • Passwords should be different from previously used ones

  • Choose a strong, unique password for account security

Troubleshooting

Problem

Solution

OTP email not arriving

Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure you entered the exact email address used when you created your account. If the email still does not arrive after a few minutes, try the "Forgot Password?" flow again.

OTP code is expired or invalid

OTP codes expire after a short time. Return to the login page, click "Forgot Password?" again, and request a new code. Enter the new OTP promptly to avoid expiration.

"Set up your account password" message on login

This means your account was created via Google Sign-In and does not have a traditional password. Click "Sign in with Google" to log in, or use "Forgot Password?" to create a password for email-based login.

New password not accepted

Ensure your password is at least 8 characters long and meets the requirements shown on screen. Avoid reusing a previous password. If the issue persists, try a different browser or clear your cache.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I log in with Google and a password at the same time? A: Yes. Once you set a password using the "Forgot Password?" flow, your account supports both login methods. You can sign in with the Google button or enter your email and password. Both methods access the same account and data.

Q: How do I know if my account was created with Google Sign-In? A: If you see a message about setting up your account password when trying to log in with email and password, your account was created via Google. You can always use the "Sign in with Google" button on the login page to access your account without needing a traditional password.

Q: Will resetting my password log me out of other devices? A: Resetting or changing your password does not automatically log you out of other active sessions. For maximum security, log out of any other devices manually after updating your password. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately.

Q: Can I change the email address associated with my account? A: To change your account email address, go to Settings > My Info and update the email field. If you signed up via Google, your account email matches your Google account. Contact [email protected] if you need assistance changing your login email.

Q: What should I do if I forgot both my password and the email I signed up with? A: Contact SquadTrip support at [email protected] with your full name and any trip details you can provide. The support team can help locate your account and assist with recovery. If you signed up via Google, try the Google sign-in button with different email accounts.
