How to Reset or Change Your Password (Travelers)

How travelers reset a forgotten password or change their password using their trip organizer's login link.

Overview

As a traveler, your SquadTrip account is created when you book a trip and is tied to the organizer you booked with. You can sign in — and reset your password — at dashboard.squadtrip.com/login or at your organizer’s own login link (for example, yourorganizer.squadtrip.com/login). Both use the same email and password.

☝️ Tip: Either link works — dashboard.squadtrip.com/login or your organizer’s link. If you’ve booked with more than one organizer, each is a separate account; see the FAQ below.


Reset a forgotten password

  1. Go to dashboard.squadtrip.com/login (or your organizer’s login link) and click Log In.

  2. Click “Forgot Password?” beneath the password field.

  3. Enter the email address you used when you booked the trip.

  4. You’ll receive a 6-digit one-time code (OTP) by email and text message.

  5. Enter the code, then choose and confirm your new password.

Change your password while logged in

If you remember your current password and just want to update it, log in to your traveler dashboard, open your account settings, and update your password there. You can also use the “Forgot Password?” flow above at any time.


Booked with Google Sign-In?

If you booked using “Sign in with Google,” your account may not have a password yet. You can:

  • Always log in with the “Sign in with Google” button, or

  • Use “Forgot Password?” to set a password for email login. After that, either method works.


Password requirements

  • At least 8 characters

  • Different from passwords you’ve used before

  • Choose a strong, unique password

Which link should I use?

Either dashboard.squadtrip.com/login or your organizer’s link (yourorganizer.squadtrip.com/login) works. If you’ve booked with multiple organizers, each is a separate account — sign into the one tied to the trip you need.

OTP code not arriving

Check your spam/junk folder and confirm you entered the exact email you booked with. If it still doesn’t arrive after a few minutes, click “Forgot Password?” again.

OTP code expired or invalid

Codes expire after a short time. Request a new one and enter it promptly.

“Set up your account password” message

Your account was created with Google Sign-In. Use the “Sign in with Google” button, or use “Forgot Password?” to set a password.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I’ve booked trips with more than one organizer. Which password do I reset? A: Each organizer you book with has its own separate account, even if you use the same email. Reset your password from the login link of the specific organizer whose trip you’re trying to access (or sign into that account at dashboard.squadtrip.com/login).

Q: I forgot which email I used to book. A: Check your inbox for SquadTrip booking or payment emails — they’re sent to your account email. Still stuck? Contact [email protected].

Q: Will resetting my password log me out of other devices? A: No, it doesn’t automatically sign you out elsewhere. For security, log out of other devices manually if needed.
