Google Sign-In accounts

If you originally signed up with Google Sign-In, your account may not have a password set. In that case:

  • You can always log in using the “Sign in with Google” button.

  • To enable email/password login, use “Forgot Password?” — this sends an OTP so you can create a password.

  • Once set, you can log in with either Google or your email and password.

Note: If you see a “set up your account password” message at login, your account was created via Google and doesn’t have a traditional password yet. Use the Google button, or set a password via “Forgot Password.”

Problem

Solution

OTP email not arriving

Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure you entered the exact email used when you created your account. If it still doesn’t arrive after a few minutes, try “Forgot Password?” again.

OTP code is expired or invalid

Codes expire after a short time. Return to the login page, click “Forgot Password?” again, and enter the new code promptly.

“Set up your account password” message

Your account was created via Google Sign-In. Use “Sign in with Google,” or use “Forgot Password?” to create a password for email login.

New password not accepted

Ensure it’s at least 8 characters and meets the on-screen requirements. Avoid reusing a previous password. If it persists, try a different browser or clear your cache.
