How to Build a Custom Payment Schedule

This guide walks you through the process of creating a tailored payment plan for any traveler in just a few simple steps.

Creating a flexible, personalized payment schedule for your travelers is an essential part of managing group trips smoothly. Whether your guest needs smaller installments or a unique billing timeline, SquadTrip makes it easy to set up a custom payment schedule that works for everyone involved.

  1. Go to Trip Data in your dashboard.
    First, log into your SquadTrip account and navigate to your dashboard. From there, click on “Trip Data” to view all the trip participants and their booking details.

  2. Search for and open the traveler’s details.
    Using the search bar or scroll feature, locate the specific traveler for whom you want to create a custom schedule. Click to open their order details so you can begin editing their payment plan.

  3. Click Edit Order and then Edit Order again.
    Once the traveler’s order details are open, you’ll see an “Edit Order” button. Click it, and on the next screen, click “Edit Order” again to proceed to the editing interface.

  4. Click Next twice to proceed.
    Advance through the default settings by clicking the “Next” button twice. This will bring you to the Payment Schedule section where customization options are available.

  5. Adjust the Payment Schedule as needed.
    Here you can adjust the number of payments and the dates on which those payments will be charged. The total balance due will automatically be split across the selected number of payments, but you can fine-tune each payment date and amount as needed to accommodate the traveler’s preferences.

  6. Click Next, then Save to confirm the changes.
    After setting the desired schedule, click “Next” to review everything. Finally, click “Save” to confirm and apply the changes to the traveler’s payment plan.

That’s it! The traveler’s future payments will now follow the newly defined custom schedule, offering both flexibility and transparency.
