Overview
SquadTrip lets organizers view individual traveler registration answers directly from the dashboard and export all responses in bulk as a CSV file. Uploaded images such as passport photos display inline, so you can review traveler information without downloading separate files.
Getting to Registration Answers
Log in to your organizer dashboard
Click "Trip Data" in the top navigation menu
Select the trip you want to review
Click a traveler's name to open their profile
Scroll to the "Registration Questions" section to see their answers
Viewing Individual Traveler Responses
Navigate to Trip Data from the dashboard
Locate the specific traveler whose responses you need
Click the traveler's name to open their profile
Scroll to the "Registration Questions" section to view submitted answers
Image Uploads: If you used a File/Image Upload question (e.g., for passport photos), the uploaded images are displayed directly in the traveler's profile -- you can view them without needing to download separate files.
Exporting All Responses
For broader access to registration data across all travelers:
Go to the Trip Stats page (or Trip Data)
Click "Export"
A CSV/Excel file downloads containing all traveler data, including registration question responses
The export includes a loading indicator while the file is being generated, and columns for each registration question with traveler responses.
Tip: The export also includes waitlist travelers and their registration answers.
What You Can See
The registration answers section shows:
Each question the traveler was asked
Their submitted response
Uploaded files/images displayed inline
Required vs. optional question indicators
This helps coordinators manage group activities, meal plans, room assignments, and more.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
Registration answers section is empty for a traveler | The traveler may have booked before registration questions were added. Questions added after a booking do not retroactively appear for existing travelers. Check the booking date against when questions were configured. |
Uploaded images are not displaying inline | Refresh the page and try again. If images still do not appear, the file may have failed to upload on the traveler's end. Ask the traveler to re-submit using a supported format (JPG or PNG). |
Export file is missing registration question columns | Ensure the trip has registration questions configured and at least one traveler has submitted answers. Empty questions with no responses may not appear as columns in the export. |
Export takes a long time or does not download | Large trips with many travelers may take longer to generate. Wait for the loading indicator to complete. If the download fails, try again or use a different browser. |
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I view registration answers for waitlisted travelers? A: Yes. Waitlisted travelers who completed the registration form have their answers stored and visible in Trip Data. Their responses also appear in the CSV export. This lets you review information for all interested travelers, not just confirmed bookings.
Q: How do I find a specific traveler's answers quickly? A: Navigate to Trip Data and use the search or filter options to locate the traveler by name or email. Click their name to open their profile, then scroll to the Registration Questions section. For bulk review, use the Export feature to download all answers in a spreadsheet.
Q: Can I edit a traveler's registration answers from my dashboard? A: Organizers cannot directly edit traveler-submitted registration answers from the dashboard. If a traveler needs to update their information (such as a corrected passport name), coordinate the change with them offline and note the update in your own records.
Q: Does the export include answers from canceled travelers? A: The export includes data for confirmed and waitlisted travelers. Canceled travelers may not appear in the standard export. If you need canceled traveler data, check the Trip Data page where individual profiles may still be accessible depending on the cancellation type.
Q: What format is the exported file in? A: The export downloads as a CSV file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application. Each registration question appears as a separate column, with one row per traveler. This makes it easy to sort, filter, and share traveler information with vendors or co-organizers.
