How to Change Your Company Branding, Profile URL, and Social Links

Overview

Your public-facing SquadTrip presence is set in three places. Your subdomain (profile URL) is chosen when you sign up and can be changed later from your dashboard. Your company name, logo and email live under Settings > Company Settings. Your social links and their colour live under Settings > Company Branding, a Premium feature. Trip page colours are set per trip in the Trip Builder’s Design and Branding section (also Premium). Company-level settings apply to every trip page and traveler email automatically.

Getting to Company Branding

From your Dashboard, click "Settings" in the navigation menu. "Company Settings" holds your company name, description, email and logo; "Company Branding" holds your social links and their colour. They are separate pages.

Changing Your Subdomain (Profile URL)

Your subdomain is the unique web address travelers use to find your trip pages. It appears as yourcompany.squadtrip.com. It is chosen on the Company Information step when you sign up, and you can change it later from your dashboard:

  1. On your dashboard, next to your profile URL, click Edit profile url

  2. Enter the new URL -- lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only -- and click Save Profile URL

  3. Confirm the warning: every trip link you have already shared stops working once the URL changes

  4. If the name is already taken you will see "Subdomain already exists. Please select another name"

Important: a subdomain change changes every trip page URL and old links stop working, so share the new URL with travelers and update your bios and marketing links.

Updating Your Company Name and Logo

Your company name and logo appear on every trip page header and in traveler emails. To update them, go to Settings > Company Settings:

  • Company Name: Enter your business or brand name in the "Company Name" field

  • Logo: drop an image into the Company Logo area (there is also a separate Company Logo Icon for small spaces)

Changes save when you click "Save Changes" and apply to all trip pages immediately.

Setting Brand Colors

Trip page colours are set per trip, not company-wide: open the trip in the Trip Builder and go to Design and Branding, where you pick a Color Palette (Primary and Secondary). This is a Premium feature.

  1. Click the color picker under Primary

  2. Enter a hex code or select from the picker

  3. Repeat for Secondary

  4. Click Confirm to apply

Note: custom colours are part of Premium. If the pickers are locked, you will see an Upgrade to Premium prompt.

Adding Social Media Links

Under Settings > Company Branding (Premium), add your social profiles so travelers can find and follow you, and pick the colour the social icons display in. Supported platforms:

Platform

What to Enter

Website

Your full website URL (e.g., https://yourbrand.com)

Instagram

Your Instagram profile URL

Facebook

Your Facebook page URL

Twitter / X

Your Twitter profile URL

TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp and LinkedIn are supported too. Social media links appear on all your trip pages, giving travelers a way to learn more about your brand and connect outside of SquadTrip. These are set at the company level -- you don't need to add them to each trip individually.

Important Notes

  • All branding changes apply across every trip page under your company

  • Your subdomain is set at signup and can be changed from your dashboard (Edit profile url) - old links stop working when you change it

  • Use a clear landscape logo (250 x 150 px PNG recommended); the same image is shown on every trip page header. The separate Company Logo Icon appears in a circle next to your company name

  • Social links are optional -- only platforms you fill in will display

  • Sub-organizers cannot edit Company Settings or Company Branding at all (both pages are read-only for every sub-organizer); only trip colours under Design and Branding follow their trip edit access

Troubleshooting

Problem

Solution

Need a different subdomain

Change it from your dashboard: click Edit profile url next to your profile URL (it is not under Settings).

Logo not displaying

Try a smaller image file and re-upload it under Settings > Company Settings > Company Logo.

Brand colors not applying

Custom colours are set per trip under Design and Branding and need Premium. If you are on Premium and colours still don’t apply, clear your browser cache and refresh.

Social links not showing on trip page

Verify the links are saved (click "Save Changes" after entering them). Each field must hold a full URL (http:// or https://) -- an incomplete URL blocks the save with an "Enter url in ... format" message. Empty rows are simply skipped.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will changing my subdomain break existing links I've shared? A: Yes - when you change your subdomain, previous trip page URLs stop working and new links use the new subdomain. We recommend notifying travelers and updating any shared links, social media bios, or marketing materials with your new URL.

Q: Do I need a subscription for custom brand colors? A: Custom brand colours are part of Premium and are set per trip under Design and Branding. On the free plan your trip pages use the default SquadTrip styling. Upgrading to Premium unlocks custom primary and secondary colours, which apply to buttons, headers, and accent elements on that trip's page (set them on each trip).

Q: Where do social media links appear? A: Social media links display in the footer of your trip pages. Travelers can click them to visit your social profiles. Links are set once at the company level and appear on every trip automatically.

Q: Can sub-organizers edit the company branding? A: No. Company Settings (name, logo) and Company Branding (social links) are read-only for every sub-organizer, whatever their permission level. Trip colours under Design and Branding follow the sub-organizer's trip edit access.
