Overview
Company Branding Settings lets you customize your public-facing SquadTrip presence -- your subdomain (profile URL), company name, logo, brand colors, and social media links. These settings apply at the company level, meaning changes affect all your trip pages, traveler emails, and your public profile automatically.
Getting to Company Branding
From your Dashboard, click "Settings" in the navigation menu, then select "Company Branding". All branding options are on a single settings page.
Changing Your Subdomain (Profile URL)
Your subdomain is the unique web address travelers use to find your trip pages. It appears as yourcompany.squadtrip.com. To change it:
Find the "Company Key" or "Subdomain" field at the top of Company Branding
Enter your desired subdomain (letters, numbers, and hyphens only)
Click "Save" -- the system checks if the name is available
If available, your new URL is active immediately across all trip pages
Important: Changing your subdomain updates all your trip page URLs instantly. Old links using the previous subdomain will no longer work. Share your new URL with travelers after making the change.
Updating Your Company Name and Logo
Your company name and logo appear on every trip page header and in traveler emails. To update:
Company Name: Enter your business or brand name in the "Company Name" field
Logo: Click the logo upload area and select an image file (PNG or JPG recommended, minimum 200x200px)
Changes save when you click "Save" and apply to all trip pages immediately.
Setting Brand Colors
Customize the look of your trip pages by setting primary and secondary brand colors. These colors control buttons, headers, and accent elements across your trip pages.
Click the color picker next to Primary Color
Enter a hex code or select from the picker
Repeat for Secondary Color
Click "Save" to apply
Note: Custom brand colors may require a SquadTrip Pro subscription. If the color pickers are disabled, check your subscription status under Account Settings.
Adding Social Media Links
Add your social media profiles so travelers can find and follow you. Supported platforms:
Platform | What to Enter |
Website | Your full website URL (e.g., https://yourbrand.com) |
Your Instagram profile URL | |
Your Facebook page URL | |
Twitter / X | Your Twitter profile URL |
Social media links appear on all your trip pages, giving travelers a way to learn more about your brand and connect outside of SquadTrip. These are set at the company level -- you don't need to add them to each trip individually.
Important Notes
All branding changes apply across every trip page under your company
Subdomain changes are instant -- old URLs stop working immediately
Logo images should be at least 200x200px for best display quality
Social links are optional -- only platforms you fill in will display
Sub-organizers with limited permissions may not have access to Company Branding settings
Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
Subdomain is taken | Try a variation of your company name. The system returns an error if the subdomain is already in use by another organizer. Add a location or year to make it unique (e.g., "yourbrand-travel"). |
Logo not displaying | Verify the image is PNG or JPG format and at least 200x200px. Very large files (over 5MB) may fail to upload. Resize and try again. |
Brand colors not applying | Custom colors may require a SquadTrip Pro subscription. Check your subscription status under Account Settings. If you're on Pro and colors still don't apply, clear your browser cache and refresh. |
Social links not showing on trip page | Verify the links are saved (click "Save" after entering them). Links must be full URLs starting with https://. Incomplete URLs won't display on the trip page. |
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will changing my subdomain break existing links I've shared? A: Yes. When you change your subdomain, all previous trip page URLs using the old subdomain stop working. New links use the updated subdomain immediately. We recommend notifying travelers and updating any shared links, social media bios, or marketing materials with your new URL.
Q: Do I need a subscription for custom brand colors? A: Custom brand colors are part of SquadTrip Pro. If you're on the free plan, your trip pages use the default SquadTrip styling. Upgrading to Pro unlocks custom primary and secondary colors, which apply to buttons, headers, and accent elements across all your trip pages.
Q: Where do social media links appear? A: Social media links display on your public profile page and on all your trip pages -- typically in the footer or header area. Travelers can click them to visit your social profiles. Links are set once at the company level and appear on every trip automatically.
Q: Can sub-organizers edit the company branding? A: Access to Company Branding depends on the sub-organizer's permission level. Only organizers with admin-level access can modify the subdomain, logo, colors, and social links. Sub-organizers with limited permissions will see the branding page as read-only.
