Can Travelers Change Their Credit Card After Making a Deposit?

Yes! Travelers can update their credit card information, view receipts, and contact you directly from their trip dashboard—without needing your help for every update.

Overview

The traveler dashboard is a self-service hub where your travelers can manage their booking details independently. This includes updating payment methods, reviewing payment history, downloading receipts, and contacting you with questions. By giving travelers direct access to these tools, you reduce administrative work while providing a better experience for your guests.

How Travelers Access Their Dashboard

Step 1: Log In

Travelers log in to their SquadTrip account using the email address associated with their booking. They can sign in with their password or use the "Sign in with Google" option for quick access.

Step 2: View My Bookings

After logging in, travelers land on the My Bookings page, which displays all their upcoming and past trips. Each trip card shows:

  • Trip name and dates

  • Next scheduled payment amount and date

  • Number of travelers in the booking

  • A Details button to access the full trip dashboard

Step 3: Open Trip Details

Clicking the Details button opens the full trip dashboard, where travelers can manage everything related to their booking.

Step 4: Update or Change Card Information

Travelers can update their saved payment method at any time. This is especially useful when:

  • A credit card has expired

  • They want to use a different card for upcoming payments

  • They need to update billing information

To update their card, travelers click the "Change/Update your card information" button in the Payments section.

What Travelers Can Do in Their Dashboard

View and Download Payment Receipts

Travelers can view their complete payment history, including:

  • All paid installments with payment dates

  • Upcoming scheduled autopay payments

  • Payment amounts and status (Paid, Scheduled, Overdue)

Each paid transaction includes a download receipt button (download icon) for easy record-keeping, reimbursements, or expense tracking.

Contact the Organizer

Travelers can reach you directly through the Contact the Organizer button at the bottom of their trip details. This keeps all trip-related communication centralized and easy to track—no need to search for email addresses or use external messaging tools.
